On behalf of the Tuscola County Republican Party, I would like to welcome you. It is our hope that you will find our website to be a useful means of communicating essential information.

I am intensely proud of our heritage as Michigan Republicans.  On July 6th, 1854, in Jackson, Michigan “Under the Oaks”, at what is today the corner of West Franklin and Second Street in Jackson, the Republican Party was born. “Destined in the throes of civil strife to abolish slavery, vindicate democracy and perpetuate the Union.”  I highly recommend a trip to the site.

Last November 2014 the Republican candidates said the answers are to be found in  freedom, private enterprise, lower taxes and less government.   The Democratic candidates said the path “forward” is increasing regulation, higher taxes, more government and ever increasing levels of spending.

No matter the circumstances of your birth, or your country of origin, the Republican Party has historically offered the pathway to the middle class.   Offering the solution led by private enterprise, the Republican's interest is in “success”.  The way forward is freedom and opportunity…for all.

We MUST prepare now, at every opportunity, to elect more Republicans at every level. Adding more voices for freedom and opportunity in the State House and the State Senate.
